Scholarship

Meritocracy has survived and will always survive irrespective of any change in the existing political order or social upheaval of any kind whatsoever. In the contemporary  socio-political spectrum it has been noticed that preferences goes not in the favor of deserving  merits rather  it goes to those who have different merit level in terms of caste, sex, gender, community, class, racial & ethnic stock or religion. This negative discrimination has many a times overtaken the merits resulting into crumbling down of administration, bureaucracy, higher education and R&D at different levels. While merit can’t be crushed and be made  forced recessive as it is destined to reflect, reappear & reemerge in one form or the other ,here or there, today or tomorrow. Merit can’t be silenced; it can’t remain a silent spectator. After all it is the ingenious brain power that has brought in space & nuclear age. The information age & knowledge society could have never been a reality had merits been ignored. Dear readers A Million Dollar question now. Cant we  praise, reward, accolade & award scholarship to the meritorious minds  and give them all kind of logistic aid, emotional & socio- institutional support  so that they are able to devise ways and means to solve intricacies of human existence with a much higher level energy and help in much meaningful human survival ? History bears the testimony to the fact that any kingship, nation or society where scientists, artisans, poets, artists, valiant warriors, singers & intellectuals have been crushed the same have decayed and disintegrated while vice versa led to innovations, discoveries, literatures, increased human & capital productivity .It yielded new branches of knowledge, restored peace and amity, promoted mutual coexistence and gave fillip to healthy survival of mankind. Hence rewards, accolades, patting, scholarship must be given to those having an exceptional “grey matrix” irrespective of his or her class, caste, humble or low origin if it is so. Even rich and poor should not be discriminated and pitted against each other.

NAM institute focuses on chiseling the latent talent of the individual and award scholarship to the master mind since they are like a molten iron & can be made of much greater value not only for the family but for the entire nation.

The principle of positive discrimination as witnessed in some Western European countries and USA can also be applied on case to case basis to inject positive energy in slow learners, low performers & low risk takers. Sometimes poor upbringing of children, abject poverty, poor Child Rearing Practices (CRP’S), illiteracy & ignorance at family & peer group level, civil strife, political turmoil, external aggressions, natural calamities, historical experiences, biological & phenotypic shortcomings may also result into slow & poor development of mental faculty of adults & children. Through a proper psycho-analytical counseling students may be put under different categories and the needy must immediately be singled out & be given extra support by the institute in the form of scholarship and help them equally cater to the individual & national requirements.

Hence to conclude scholarship will be provided on the grounds of merits who will get more excited to prove much better as well as it will go to unprivileged as well so that even they get excited to achieve something meaningful . This will promote inter - personal competition, sense of togetherness and social harmony and will never create conflicts and callousness of any kind.

Note: The policy of scholarship may be changed from time to time to make it more students friendly, purposive & meaningful. The Institution would award a limited number of scholarships on need- cum- merit basis solely at the discretion of   NAM administration.
