Mr Amrendra Kumar
A kind hearted, generous and philanthropist in thought and action.
An “action man” who have touched several heights of success in small amount of time with his killer instinct, dedicated endeavor and fiery inner drive. A B.Tech from Bangalore he has surpassed many contemporary IITians in terms of achievements and left them far behind the ladder of success.
This is very important to note that he is having a fully blossom business interaction in IT sectors such as HCL, BOB, IRCON and he is being nick named as IT Baron for PSUs in future India.
He has been with NAM since embryonic to its fully developed stage and will always be a constant source of inspiration for NAM and the institute is looking forward for his valuable suggestions and logistics support from time to time.
NAM pays heartfelt and sincere thanks to him for his incessant support to the cause of the institution. |

Dr. Purnendu Mandal He is a Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Information Systems and Analysis at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas,USA. He is also the Director of SAP-University Alliance Program at Lamar. Prior to that he was a Professor in MIS, Lewis College of Business, Division of Management & Marketing, Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. In 1993-2000, he was a senior lecturer at the School of Engineering and Technology, Deakin University, Australia.
He has published more than 140 journal and conference articles and serves on the editorial boards of three academic journals. His research papers have appeared in European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Management Decision, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, Logistics Information Management, Intelligent Automation and Soft Computing: An International Journal, International Journal of Technology Management, ASCE Journal of Management in Engineering, Decision, Applied Mathematical Modeling, etc. With more than 20 years of teaching, research and consulting experience in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, the UK and the US, Dr. Mandal's professional interests include information systems development and application, e-Business, supply chain management, total quality management and system dynamic modeling.
Dr Mandal pioneered the spread of system dynamics (SD) in India and Australasia through the establishment of SD societies and chapter and the organization of national and international conferences. He is a member of Decision Sciences Institute, in which he served on the publication committee (2002-2004) and international affairs committee (2000-2002). Dr Mandal earned his doctorate in system dynamics from the School of Management, University of Bradford, UK. |
